Granite resources are abundant, widely distributed, and diverse in variety. Traditionally, granite has been used in the construction of houses, roads, and bridges. Granite is a special type of ore with a high quartz content and very little iron. Its crystal bonds are very strong, resulting in excellent texture and resistance to acid, corrosion, and wear. It is a high-quality, corrosion-resistant material used in the chemical industry, metallurgy, thermal power generation, cement, printing and dyeing, and defense facilities.

Process Flow

Granite is a coarse- or medium-grained intrusive rock rich in quartz and feldspar. It is a common plutonic rock in the Earth's crust, formed by the cooling of magma deep within the crust. Because it can be used as paving stones and building stone, granite mining was once a major industry. In designing the crushing process, JM Long uses laminated crushing equipment whenever possible to minimize wear and tear on wear parts. A typical laminated equipment configuration is a two-stage jaw crusher or a jaw crusher plus a cone crusher. If the customer has high requirements for the particle size of the processed stone, an impact crusher can be added to perform shaped crushing, creating a three-stage crushing process. While three-stage crushing inevitably results in higher project investment costs, for long-term stone processing plants, the reduction in production costs can be significant.
